The Creamery Responds to COVID-19

Dear Customers and Member-Owners of the Creamery,

The health and well being of staff and community members is of utmost importance to all of us at the Creamery. We are closely monitoring the real-time developments of the Covid-19 crisis, and following the guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as well as taking direction from state and local government. As such, we have put the following practices and policies in place to keep our employees and customers safe.

–Effective Tuesday, March 17th until April 6th, per state law, no on-premises consumption of food and beverages will be permitted, and our dining area will be closed.
–Until further notice, all soup and coffee service will be provided by deli and kitchen staff, and we will be pre-packing up much of our deli case offerings.
–We have strengthened our sanitation protocols, instituted a “gloves-on” policy for all employees handling food and money, and reinforced personal hygiene best practices with all staff.
–We are working closely with staff members to accommodate personal scheduling needs while doing our best to ensure we remain open for the community.
–We are offering call-ahead and pay-by-phone service with curbside delivery to your vehicle.
–We are exploring home delivery options, and will update everyone as soon as possible.
–We are encouraging folks to minimize cash transactions, to consider using debit/credit cards instead, and to deposit funds onto their accounts over the phone if possible.

Though we are experiencing some supply challenges, we are receiving daily deliveries from many of our suppliers, and most items are currently in stock. At this time no changes to store hours are being made. For your part, we ask that customers follow recommendations of the CDC in regards to personal hygiene and social distancing, and to please avoid the store if you are not feeling well or work with or live with folks in an at-risk population.

It is important to remember that these measures are being taken to ensure the health and safety of employees and customers while maintaining continuity of service to our community. As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, concerns or ideas to help us navigate this crisis more effectively. We are here for you and are happy to serve!

In Cooperation,

Dan Esko, General Manager
