We depend on YOU to help keep our store vibrant!
Our store would not be what it is without the continuous involvement of caring and passionate member-owners and volunteers. We enthusiastically welcome you to get involved in our community-owned store by joining a committee, sharing your feedback and ideas, and actively participating in our outreach events and initiatives throughout the year.
1) Join a Board Committee
Member-owners are encouraged to get more involved in the co-op by joining one of our committees. Current committees, descriptions, and meeting dates are listed here. To find out more about a committee or contact a committee chair, please email board@oldcreamery.coop.
2) Become a Volunteer
Want to help but can’t commit to a regular meeting schedule? You can still volunteer for one-time events or occasional projects by looking for opportunities in our e-newsletter or by staying informed on our special volunteer email list. To learn more about current opportunities and how to best apply your time and talents, please reach out to our member services coordinator at board@oldcreamery.coop.
3) Check Your Inbox
We often put calls for volunteers in our store newsletters. If you aren’t receiving our newsletters, sign up here! If you need help updating your email address or re-subscribing to our list contact marketing@oldcreamery.coop
4) Add funds to your member account
One simple way to help the Creamery financially is to add funds to your member account to “pre-pay” for your groceries. It works to provide a small cash advance to help us with weekly operating expenses especially when business is slow. It also saves the Creamery money on credit card transaction fees and greatly speeds up your checkout process! Just ask a cashier at your next visit.
5) Donate to the Friends of the Creamery
Through a partnership with Hilltown CDC, we are now able to accept tax-deductible charitable contributions to help us as we take steps to stabilize our financial situation and plan for the future. Learn more here.
