Old Creamery Co-op Seeks Eager Bakery Help!
The Old Creamery Co-op is a little country store situated on Route 9, halfway between Northampton and Pittsfield. We’ve been a food co-op since 2012, but there’s been a version of this business on this spot for a lot longer than that. If you’ve driven by, you’ve probably seen us. We’ve got a cow on our roof. We’re “the place to shop with a cow on top.”
Our outstanding Prepared Foods department is currently in the market for a Part-Time Production Baker. We’ll need you to have some experience, but if you’re a great team member and available for 20 to 25 hours a week through our busy season, we’re happy to train you in our ways. Speed and accuracy are paramount, some early mornings and weekend shifts are requisite.

The Old Creamery Co-op is a little country store situated on Route 9, halfway between Northampton and Pittsfield. Working as a Cashier & Customer Service representative at the Creamery means that you’re directly on the frontlines of our relationship with the town of Cummington, our members, and customers new and old. Your interactions with our these folks will create lasting impressions that will define our entire operation in the mind of our guests. We are a community-owned co-op at which all are welcome to shop and participate.
While the bulk of your shift will consist of ringing up customers at the register, the position of Cashier & Customer Service Representative also involves maintaining the state of the store throughout our hours of operation. Cleaning, stocking, and generally maintaining an inviting environment is what keeps our guests coming back time and again.
Ideal applicant will be able to engage with customers, creating a welcoming environment while quickly and efficiently processing sales. You should be prepared to learn about our array of products, systems, and history as a community co-op. Please be self-motivating and eager to keep our store conditions clean and presentable at all times.
