We are proud to be one of the central hubs of the Hilltowns. We work hard to support our
local producers, businesses, farmers, and community. We are committed
to providing the products and services that our community needs and we are working to keep our
prices as low as possible and the quality as high as possible.
As we transition the Old Creamery to a community owned cooperative we invite you to join as a
Founding Member-Owner. Nearly 500 of your friends and neighbors have already joined.
Non-member-owners are also crucial to the co-op's success. Your continue patronage supports the Creamery's transition as well. Thank you for supporting the Old Creamery Co-op as a member-owner, as a shopper, as a friend. We value every contribution to the success of the Old Creamery Co-op.
We sell bulk foods. We have a wholesale food buying club open to all. We have a zero waste bulk buying club. We give a 10% discount on case orders. We have been shopping bag free since Earth Day 2008. We host periodic speakers on sustainability, have monthly films on sustainability topics powered by our wind turbine, and we host a free Sustainability Library on our second floor. The packaging used by our deli, grocery, and produce departments is the most environmentally sound choices available, such as 100% cellulose cellophane bags, bio-bag trash bags, and recycled fiberboard deli containers.
We invite community feedback on our products, policies, practices, and events. Alice, Amy, and the rest of the
co-op board need your opinions and advice for the changes that will best serve our community. Tell us in person,
put it in the co-op suggestion box, and/or come to one of our co-op board or volunteer meetings. We treasure and value your involvement and support.
Visit our calendar for community events.
Most of all just drop in, enjoy the great food, the company of your friends and neighbors, and the warm feeling of our community gathering spot.
